Ruin & Restoration is a healer-only, dark fantasy roleplaying game about eking out a fragile but meaningful existence in a dying land.

Ruin & Restoration is a Sparked by the Resistance game based on Heart: The City Beneath, and inspired by the Dark Souls series, Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, Dragon Age, Irish mythology, and more.  

R&R is a game set in an apocalyptic landscape filled with twisted monstrosities, zealous cultists, cruel angels, and crumbling edifices of long-dead civilisations. Your skills, knowledge, and magic have given you the means to provide aid to those who need it, and fight back against those who would take what little the people have left away from them. 

Along the way, you will face numerous trials and tribulations, make tough sacrifices, be forced to confront your own beliefs and values, get hurt too many times to count, and might even die altogether. But, crucially, in the midst of all of that, you will find joy, love, beauty, life, and humanity – the things that make your unending struggles worthwhile.

This game contains:

• 12 unique character classes - each a different type of healer - including Alchemist, Knight, Necromancer, and Witch
• A bizarre, twisted land to explore, featuring more than 20 different landmarks to visit, such as abandoned temples, ancient ringforts, artists' communes, magical universities, and screaming forests
• Over 30 potential adversaries to face off against, such as scheming demons, cunning fey, reanimated corpses, dryad gangsters, and otherworldly entities
